He’s my favorite character of Mass Effect ; well I like Garrus and Liara too, but Illusive Man is my favorite man character despite Bioware/Electronic Arts’s people decide destroy him as character at the end (I didn’t like the Mass Effect 3 end neither).

A really fine piece. I like the expression too, it communicates a lot in a single look.
They could have done so much with this character. He was a super pragmatic 'end justify the means' kind of character. A counterpoint to paragon Shepards, and for renegades, a voice leading them deeper into the dark. The whole idea of Cerberus as an organization of greys and blacks, where they aren't necessarily as the media and Alliance make them out to be was an interesting idea. I imagine they could have been explored quite a bit, with the Illusive Man gaining some meaningful character development in 3.
Instead they completely assassinated him and Cerberus in 3 and turned him into a moustache twirling cartoon villain.
